To blog or not to blog

Confession time. I never understood the blog craze. Not the reading part. I admit it; I love reading other people's blog. The first one I ever read is still my favorite: my friend Matt Anderson's blog. Matt was touring the country for a show he was doing, and even now, he lives in Washington D.C. and is always doing very cool things. It's the posting part I never got. I'm sure it's because I am completely boring. Sure, we go on a few trips a year, but other than that, there's not much exciting going on. And for the daily stuff? I really don't think people want to read about my schedule or see a picture of our usual "yellow" dinner meal: chicken, mashed potatoes and corn.

But, in the last few weeks, several people have told me I should start a blog. I'm a firm believer in signs. When you get more than 3 pushes to do something, someone is trying to tell you something. Certainly, I'm not pressuming that God cares if I blog or not, but the multiple suggestions did get me thinking. I've gone back and forth - to blog or not to blog - and I finally decided.... I'm in! I have justified my decision that I can showcase the photos we've taken on our supercool new camera, but the truth is....it just sounds like fun!

IT IS FUN - you get to show off the goods and run your mouth as long as you want! It's like an online diary all about you- is there anything greater? :)
